This week's Testimony:

I just wanted to say that God is so great. When I think about him sometimes, I even cry because he loves me so much. Sometimes I can even feel just how much he grieves for the world, how his heart aches because all he truly wants to do is love the world and be loved.

Well three weeks ago I watched a program on youtube. This pastor said that God is willing to do all that you ask, according to his will, if only you would ask and believe. She said one thing we should all as Christians ask God is for him to send us a "fish" because we are all to be fishers of men. So I asked God to send me a fish. A couple days following that prayer, a little boy walked into the bathroom at school and so I took that opportunity to tell about God and his love for him. He had no idea that God loved him! I felt so good that he now knew that God loves him.

I was amazed at that experience so I asked God again to send me a fish, but someone that was hurting. Again a few days following that , at the bus stop, there was a man who was talking to another man ,cursing and swearing and I was a bit annoyed by his lack of respect. The man that he was talking to left and now it was just both he and I left at the stop. I glanced at him and he at me and he asked me if I just came from school and I answered yes. He started to talk for a little but when he saw that I was genuinely interested in what he had to say he continued and eventually started pouring out his life story. I was very touched because it seemed like he lived a very hard and sinful life, so I again took the opportunity to tell him about God. One thing I said was to hold on to God and he was almost in tears. He then said to me "You don't even know why you are here, do you? I just got out of prison and I was just about to do something stupid, I needed to hear those words".

When he left, I was just so taken aback about how God engineers situations and brought me there at that specific time and location. In fact, I had not planned to leave that late that day, but sadly I read the schedule wrong, twice, and ended up taking the bus alot later than I usually do. I now realize that God is eager to show his love, eager to save and eager to be glorified. God is so great. I know his heart pains him in unimaginable ways. He puts the whole world on his shoulders and he is hurting everyday, but we his children bring him joy. Now I know that whenever I pray for a fish I will get what I prayed for because God is a loving eager God.
