The Internet

Over the years, the internet has turned from a simple form of communication and data transfer, to one of the most vilest of places the mind can imagine. One can commit unthinkable sins with the click of a mouse. A user can spew venomous, hateful, and hurtful words anonymously. He or she can see things that the human eye is not meant to see. Computers in general have parked the majority of my country's population directly in front of the monitor for many hours a day, which can be quite detrimental. The internet can be a useful rescource to gain much knowledge from, to communicate with others through, and to store memories and thoughts on. However, if this phenominal tool is abused, the consequences can be dire.

Many people think that technology is bad.
The Lord has allowed us to create and use new forms of advanced technology since the beginning of time, and wether it be not burning your caveman neighbor's house down with the fire you discoverd, or posting untrue things about an old friend on a forum. The concept has been and will be the same. You may be able to hide your life on the internet from friends and family, but The Lord is watching. He can read every e-mail you write. He can see everyone's computer screens at all times. An internet community of sin has developed over the years, and I urge you, the reader, to do whatever you can in your power to prevent this ever growing network of users from turning into animals. Whether it be posting a kind word on someone's MySpace, or thanking an eBay seller for their honesty and cooperation on a purchase. Just a little bit of genuine kindness can spark one's interest in why you are so happy. That is when you open up and tell them why! This where this website comes into play. I pray that the Lord lets this site be a ray of light in this cave of darkness, and that he speaks to you through this man-made monstrosity of wires and technology.
